Lynda Goodrich, WWU basketball Sport: Basketball Local connection: Lake Stevens High, graduate Best known as: WWU women's basketball coach Era: 1970-1990 Coaching bio Before she became an associate athletic director at WWU, Goodrich established herself as one of the top college basketball coaches in NAIA history. In 19 seasons as head coach of the Vikings, she had a 411-125 record to become one of just three NAIA coaches to amass more than 400 wins. She led the Vikings to three District 1 championships and two trips to the national quarterfinals of the NAIA tournament. Goodrich never had losing season, and her teams won 20 or more games 13 times. She took the Vikings to 18 postseasons and was twice named a finalist for national coach-of-the-year honors.
