Era: 1950s through 1970s

Coaching bio

Lowery had countless admirers over the years, including University of Washington coach Marv Harshman. In 24 seasons as coach of Everett and Ferndale high schools, Lowery piled up a 293-202 record. He won nine league championships and made five state-tournament appearances in 18 seasons as boys coach at Everett, from 1955 to 1973, before taking over as head coach at Everett Community College. He is a member of the EHS and Washington State Coaches Hall of Fames.
