Coaching bio

While his might not be a household name, Pyatte has built quite a reputation in the local baseball community. In his 33rd year of coaching the Merchants _ they are a semipro team based in Everett _ Pyatte has been a mainstay on the diamond. He led the team to the 1988 National Baseball Congress World Series and is a member of the NBC Hall of Fame. A 1961 graduate of Marysville High School, Pyatte was a manager/player until 1991, when he was 47. He continues to serve as manager of the Merchants well into his 60s.
