Coaching bio

While it seems like a copout to start the top 25 with an entire staff, this group of Snohomish coaches have such similar resumes that we had to lump them together. Tuck Gionet (track), Kim Hammons (baseball), Dan Pingrey (boys soccer), John Pringle (boys swimming) and Rob Serviss (girls swimming) have all won multiple state titles for the Panthers, combining for 13 championships in recent years. Basketball coaches Len Bone and Ken Roberts have turned the Panthers into perennial contenders at the annual state hoops tournament. No matter the sport, Snohomish is in good hands. "One of the big things in Snohomish is: tradition brings responsibility," said Dick Jansen, who is about to begin his 39th year as varsity coach of the boys and girls tennis programs. "And that's certainly held true over the years."
