15. Jim Lambright, UW football

Sport: Football

Local connection: Everett High, graduate

Best known as: Former UW football coach

Era: 1970s through 1990s

Coaching bio

Before Lambright got thrown into a tough situation by taking over the University of Washington's probation-era football program, he helped lead the Huskies to prominence as a longtime assistant. In 1993, Lambright replaced Don James as head coach and had a 44-25-1 record, including four bowl game appearances in six seasons. But the former high school teammate of Mike Price and Dennis Erickson was fired in 1999 and has not coached since then.
