Brown Bear offers free car washes during anniversary

Brown Bear Car Wash will celebrate its 60th anniversary with free washes at its 23 tunnel locations throughout the Puget Sound area.

The chain will be offering the “Beary Clean” washes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. The annual free car washes draw long lines at the locations.

During the past 10 years, the Brown Bear chain has washed more than 280,000 cars and trucks during its anniversary washes in August and free washes for veterans and military members on Veterans Day.

The chain has three locations in Snohomish County, two in Everett and one in Lynnwood.
