Costco confirms Lynnwood store opening in August

LYNNWOOD — Costco says that the new store here is set to open in August.

The company has declined to answer questions from media, but on its website the Lynnwood location now is listed among planned openings.

The store is being built at the old high school site north of Alderwood mall.

A new road is being built through the site to connect the mall with Maple Road and relieve congestion.
