Since the jetliner went missing over the Gulf of Thailand, people have been wondering how one of the largest commercial airplanes can disappear. Why didn’t the plane show up on radar?
It might have, Joshua Pavluk said in an interview with Global Post, an online news organization. Pavluk specializes in radar systems.
Military radar might have picked up the plane, but releasing such information could effectively broadcast sensitive information about a country’s military capabilities, said Pavluk, who works for Avascent, a Washington, D.C., consulting firm.
