Last week, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the new Stanwood Grocery Outlet located adjacent to Highway 532 at 26905 92nd Ave. Shayne and Mary Stoddard are the independent owners and operators of the new store. The retail project was constructed by Chad Fisher Construction and financed by Coastal Community Bank.
Talk on growth trends in Puget Sound region planned in Everett
The public is invited to attend a presentation, “Growth Trends in the Puget Sound Region,” by Paul Inghram of the Puget Sound Regional Council. The talk will start at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in Public Meeting Room 1 on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration Building at 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The presentation is sponsored by the Snohomish County Tomorrow Steering Committee.
Leadership changes at Moss Adams
Seattle-based Moss Adams announced that Chris Schmidt has been re-elected to serve another term as chairman and chief executive officer. Dave Follett will take over for Dick Fohn as the new president and chief operating officer, while Fohn assumes leadership of the firm’s consulting practice. Rebecca Pomering will become chief practice officer. Changes are effective Aug. 10.

EvergreenHealth improves electronic health record technology
EvergreenHealth has announced that it is exceeding national standards for the way its providers use electronic health record technology. The Kirkland-based health care system recently reached stage two in a three-stage program, known as Meaningful Use designed by the federal government to help health care providers achieve better clinical outcomes through effective use of EHR technology.
