NHL
Like others I'd have to see you didn't see a "real" NHL game last night. There is a lot larger differene in NHLto WHL than there is in AHL to WHL...which is about the level we saw. It was a good time. We got pictures and autographs from Mueller. My sone was happy to say he saw an NHL game. That said, there's no way I'd pay to see it again. The luster is gone and the show isn't worth it.

I also wonder how you feel about it knowing what we know now. That is The Lightning and Coyotes played again tonight in Loveland, Colorado and Mueller played (and won the game in the shoot out) & the Lightning dressed Stamkos, Lecavalier, St. Louis, Hedman, Malone and other "starters".

Seems Everett pretty much got the shaft.

NHL Preseason
I agree that the game was not as flashy and spectacular as it could have been. But it was still hockey. NHL hockey. Something very rare around these parts.

NHL in Everett
Please don't use last night's game to judge NHL vs. WHL. It was a fun night but a rather sloppy display by both teams. The highlight was Mike Smith in net for Tampa. Once NHL players' rosters are finalized, lines set, etc. you will see a bigger difference between NHL and WHL play. The WHL is still great hockey!

disappointment
Now don't get me wrong I enjoyed last nights game. Fast, quick, stick to stick passes, non-stop action. But I would have like to see some of the stars play. Some fans around me booed Mueller during the slide show on the screen during the third period. I saw Spokane fans there just dieing to see Tokarski play a minute or two. Was it worth 50+ dollars for my seat? I have to say no. Watching AHL players trying to make it Big leagues was fun but not what I paid to see. Next time lower the cost and truley sell out the arena.
