Separation of church and state..hummmm
What it boils down to is separation of people and state government. Some how I recall a passage from the old testiment (constitution) about, of the people and for the people" Now it is people keep your moral beliefs out of the government, no one is welcome.. The new American religion is "Believe in the government as your savior" Government will save you from poverty and satisfy all your needs from cradle to grave" Repent and change your ways, keep your unwavering polition in power because, she/he knows what is best for you.
