3231 Creatives is more than an art gallery in downtown Everett.

The brick building at 3231 Broadway wants to be “a place where everyone in the community comes to know the brilliance of their imagination.”

To meet that goal, 3231 Creatives is holding a number of events to engage the community.

Here’s a list of some of the those events:

Sewing lounge: 5 to 8 p.m. Sundays and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at the Clothes Pen in the lower level at 3231 Creatives.

Come in and sew till your fingers can’t stand it. The sewing lounge offers seamsters a three-hour time slot each week to come in and use the big space to work on sewing projects.

The Clothes Pen provides sewing machines and cutting tables, and experts on hand. The cost is $15 for three hours.

Pinterest parties: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m every other Tuesday. The next workshop will be Oct. 30.

Followers of this website where you pin and share your favorite things can join PJ Parsons and Iris Lemmer for do-it-yourself activities.

Tarot readings with Guinnivere Wilson: 2 to 5 p.m. every Saturday.

Transition Port Gardner family night: 6 to 8 p.m. the third Saturday of each month.

People who care about the community and the planet can join together for a potluck dinner followed by a program and discussion on environmental and/or sustainable issues.

Bring a dish to share and your own plates and utensils. There will be activities to keep the children occupied.
