Tuesday

It’s time to bust a move as “So You Think You Can Dance” returns for its 10th season. The show kicks things off with the first half of a two-part opener. 8 p.m., Fox.

The season finale of “NCIS” has Gibbs (Mark Harmon) in hot water over the team’s aggressive handling of a case tied to the killing of a Mossad leader. Haven’t they learned by now that you don’t mess with Gibbs? 8 p.m., CBS.

Wednesday

Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath perform in the eerie season finale of “CSI.” Fortunately, no bats were harmed in the making of this episode. 10 p.m., CBS.

Thursday

The buzz and ratings may have waned, but “American Idol” still has a chance to produce a big star. Tonight, one very talented woman begins her quest to follow in the footsteps of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. 8 p.m., Fox.

“The Office” series finale: It began as a modest adaptation of a British classic and then came into its own.

Now, after nine seasons of workplace insanity, the Dunder Mifflin gang bids farewell in a 1 hour-and-15 minute episode that figures to provoke both laughter and tears.

Here’s hoping that Dwight, Jim and Pam (Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer) and their pals get a proper send off. 9 p.m. Thursday, NBC.

Can “Scandal” make our jaws hit the floor one more time in its raucous Season 2 finale? We’re pretty much counting on it. 10:02 p.m., ABC.

On the season-ender of “Nikita,” Amanda (Melinda Clarke) forces our hero (Maggie Q) into a situation where she must choose between saving Michael’s (Shane West) life or her own. 8 p.m., The CW.

Saturday

“Doctor Who” finishes off its seventh season with the discovery of a secret that our main man (Matt Smith) thought he would take to his grave. Could it be his name? 8 p.m., BBC America.
