Tonight
Bring your battle gear. It’s time for the knockout rounds on “The Voice,” and we expect wild flurries of vocal haymakers, or something along those lines. 8 p.m., NBC.
Tuesday
“American Experience: War of the Worlds” is a compelling documentary that recalls how, on the eve of Halloween 75 years ago, Orson Welles punk’d America with his fake radio newscast of a Martian invasion. Among those interviewed: Welles’ daughter Chris Welles Feder and filmmaker Peter Bogdanovich. 9 p.m., PBS.
Wednesday
Billy Porter, a recent Tony winner for his role in “Kinky Boots,” guest stars on “Law &Order: SVU.” He plays a singing coach and reality TV star who is accused of sexually abusing a student. 9 p.m., NBC.
Thursday
Yes, we still love to watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” after all these years. And if you don’t, maybe you deserve to get a rock in your trick-or-treat bag. 8 p.m., ABC.
You may want to keep the lights on for this one: “Ghost Adventures” celebrates Halloween by spending a couple of hours in Transylvania, home of Dracula. Shudder. 9 p.m., Travel Channel.
Friday
The food fight comes to an end tonight on “MasterChef Junior” as the final four kiddie chefs serve up chicken dishes. The last one standing gets $100,000. 8 p.m., Fox.
Tonight’s edition of “Great Performances” takes to the sea for a San Francisco Opera production of “Moby-Dick.” Jay Hunter Morris stars as the monstrously obsessive Captain Ahab. 9 p.m., PBS.
