Break out the soup bowls

Kelly Morrow, a registered dietitian from Bastyr University, will teach a free class on making hearty soups for the cold winter days from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Molbak’s Garden and Home in Woodinville.

The soup recipes, which will be handed out, focus on local, seasonal and nutrient-packed ingredients and will be vegetarian and gluten- and dairy-free.

Molbak’s is at 13625 NE 175th St., Woodinville.
