Bridal dresses galore will be for sale at The Bridal Dress Swap Meet in Silvana. Buy a dress at a great price. Sell a dress for some extra cash. Donate a dress for a tax deduction. Help a good cause. Proceeds go to The Stephen Ministry.

“This is a nice way for people to get nice dresses,” said spokeswoman Jeanne Watanabe, owner of The Silver Hanger consignment shop in Arlington.

Most dresses are $25 to $200.

“Some new that have been donated have $1,200 price tags will sell for $300 to $400.”

There will be dressing rooms to try on the gowns, which come in sizes to fit all shapes.

The swap is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, 1717 Larson Road. There are plans for a sale in August also.
