Tribute to Ralph Stanley: Bluegrass master Ralph Stanley, who died earlier this year, had been scheduled to perform at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. People who love his music will still be able to hear his tunes such as “Man of Constant Sorrow,” “Oh Death” and “Pretty Polly” at a concert set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at the center, 410 Fourth Ave. N. The show will feature Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Jim Lauderdale and Stanley’s grandson Nathan Stanley. Tickets are $19-$54. Call 425-275-9595.

Puget Sound Festival of Bands: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 22, Everett Memorial Stadium. See and hear more than 20 high school marching bands from throughout the region, including Cascade, Kamiak and Stanwood. Host band Cascade plays at 3 and 8 p.m. Final competition begins at 5 p.m. Admission prices vary, but include deals for families.

Simon Lynge: The singer/songwriter from Greenland will perform an acoustic set at 8 p.m. Oct. 22 at Normanna Hall, 2725 Oakes Ave., Everett. Lynge has toured with Emmy Lou Harris, sells out concerts in Scandinavia and has been reviewed in Rolling Stone magazine. $10 at the door. www.simonlyngemusic.com.

FanJAZZtic Jazz Masquerade: The benefit for the DeMiero Jazz Festival and its education programs is 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Edmonds Yacht Club. Costumes encouraged, but optional. Tickets are $65 and must be purchased in advance at www.demierojazzfest.org/fanjazztic-2016. The evening includes dinner and live jazz from the Jazz Pearls combo. The auction includes trips, sports packages, art and Yvonne DeMiero’s lasagna dinner for a crowd.

Cascade Symphony Orchestra: Tickets for the 2016-17 season are available at cascadesymphony.org. Season opening night “With a Bit of Halloween” is 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Edmonds Center for the Arts. The program includes Saint-Saens’ “Dance Macabre” and Mussorsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain.” Soloist Yuka Sasaki will perform Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1.

The Neil Youngs and the Harvest Moon Band: The tribute band performs at 8 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. For tickets, $25, call 425-258-6766.

Juni Fisher: This real-life cowgirl singer, guitarist and storyteller performs at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets are $15 or $12.50 for seniors and children. Call 360-568-9412.

Crazy about Patsy Cline: Ria Peth Vanderpool of Skagit County and her country band will perform Patsy Cline’s classics at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St., Marysville. Tickets are $15.

Mukilteo Community Orchestra: Prokofiev’s“Peter and the Wolf” will be performed at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. Enter the kids art contest and have your picture of the story printed on the program cover. More at www.mukilteoorchestra.org.

Un-Wine-d Wednesdays: Live music and tastes of local wines are offered by Marysville Rotary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 with Soulevard at the city-run Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.; 360-363-8400. Tickets are $5.

Blues and Brews Thursdays: Marysville Kiwanis Club joins the city in offering blues music and brews from a local microbrewery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 with the Highway 9 Blues Band, both at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St; 360-363-8400. $5 at the door.

Jazz at the Camano Center: The series continues with Pearl Django at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island.Tickets are $30 for Adults. Students free with ID.

Country Girls Sing the Blues: A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, this concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Red Curtain, 9315 State Ave., in Marysville features Marcia Kester, Bev Cloer and Britta Grass singing tunes by Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline and Dusty Springfield. Tickets are $28 or $21 for students, seniors and military. Call 360-322-7402.
