Head to the intersection of Colby Avenue and 26th Street in Everett from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 27 for the Food Truck Festival, the Everett Makers Market, free activities for kids from the Imagine Children’s Museum, face-painting by Haley Wise, a nearby Bubble Run hosted by Snohomish County Sports Commission, an adult libations garden hosted by Wicked Cellars and more.
The family friendly Makers Market features 24 street booths run by local people who, well, make stuff.
These arts, crafts, housewares and food vendors include The Phina Project, Blue Box Bakery, Vertical Gardens Northwest, Red Umbrella Designs, Keepinitcreeepy, Quintessential Arts, Sunshine Honey Company, La Objeteria Jewelry, Earthy Tones, Phenix, Sara AtMidnight, Madi May Design, DragonFire Candles, BookGrain, Kri Kri Studio, The Savvy Heart, Lasered Design, Scarlet Ibis Coffee Company, ElleBee206, @PawfectBowtique, Craftsville and Vandicrafts.
Some vendors will be offering give-aways.
Soniphone Records of Everett will be spinning tunes in the market area.
“It’s one big festival,” said Makers Market organizer Kristen Keenan. “It’s the summer event you won’t want to miss.”
