Bunny Bounce and Easter Baskets for the Animals: 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 30, Woodland Park Zoo, 750 N. 50th St., Seattle; 12th annual Bunny Bounce features egg hunts for children ages 1 to 8, crafts, bunny encounters and other zoo programs throughout the day; gorillas, elephants and grizzlies nibble on specially made Easter baskets lined with flowers and berries. Seattle Center Whirligig: Seattle Armory is now a hub of child-sized fun with super-sized inflatable rides, balloon artists, face painters and caricaturists; suitable for children 12 and under with toddler’s zone; also features a variety of student showcases and whirligig related food; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 6 through April 21, Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St., Seattle. Entry to the armory is free. Ride admission is $7.50 for an all-day main floor pass; $4.50 for an all-day toddler zone pass, and $1.50 for a single ride ticket. Free on Thursdays. “Plastics Unwrapped”: The Burke Museum explores the impact of plastics on people and the planet, from life before plastics to the effects of plastics on our health and the environment today; runs through May 27 at the Burke Museum, on the University of Washington campus, at the corner of NE 45th St. and 17th Ave. NE.
