The gown sale is one of the best reasons a bride has for going to the Wedding Expo starting Saturday at the Comcast Arena conference center.
After all, there will be more than 1,000 gowns marked down from 20 percent to 70 percent.
Though that’s a big reason for attending, the Lynnwood/Everett Wedding Expo also offers continual roving “cocktail modeling” of wedding fashions for a close-up look at current styles.
The vendors, some who have done more than 700 weddings, will be handing out promotional items and brochures. The expo is a one-stop shopping opportunity for brides looking for tips and trends in food, fashion, jewelry and decorations.
The Lynnwood/Everett Wedding Expo took place for the first time at Comcast Arena in January. For the previous 10 years, the expo was held at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
The Wedding Expo runsfrom 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
Tickets are $15, but you may still have time to get in on the two-for-one admission being offered. For more information go to www.comcastarenaeverett.com/.
Some other tips to remember before you leave for the expo: Go with family or friends who want to be there, bring color samples or fabric swatches and dress comfortably.
