J.Crew’s signature preppy chic style was once again palpable in the fall/winter 2014 men and women’s wear presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
The bold colors and prints seen in some previous seasons gave way to monochromatic colors, ombre pieces and more simplistic patterns, including stripes and soft florals.
The girly tomboy made an appearance, best epitomized by a women’s take on a tuxedo.
The collection offered many of the trends that had a strong presence on runways throughout the week, including cozy casual wear (sweaters and scarves), a muted color palette of predominantly gray, beige, navy and maroon, and a dose of something sparkly.
