The Mukilteo Fire Department wants you … to be prepared for emergencies. Stop in at the Mukilteo fire station, 10400 47th Place W., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for an emergency preparedness open house.

Firefighters will be doing live fire and sprinkler demonstrations. You can hop aboard the fire engines, police cars and the Paine Field Airport crash truck (as long as they are not needed for a real emergency).

There will be free blood pressure checks, and child safety and emergency information.
