Tonight there is a must-see show in Everett. In support of approving Referendum 74 and legalizing same sex marriage Kris Orlowski and the Local Strangers will be performing at the Anchor Pub in downtown Everett.
Kris Orlowski is fresh off the release of his new “Pieces We Are” EP with Andrew Joslyn and a pair of sold-out shows in the same night at the Triple Door in Seattle. So, to say having Kris performing in Everett is kind of a big deal would be completely accurate.
The fact that he is performing in Everett on a Thursday night is great, but the fact that he is performing a show to help support marriage equality makes it even better.
“I really believe that people shouldn’t be inhibited from loving who they want. This gives me a chance to take a stand on that” said Orlowski on playing this show.
This is a must-see show if you are in or anywhere near Everett. The proceeds go to Washington United For Marriage. The doors open at 7 p.m. and there is a suggested $10 donation at the door. See you at the show and don’t forget to vote!
