Orca whales will be swimming on the walls of Northwest Stream Center Auditorium at 11 a.m. Oct. 5 when the Adopt A Stream Foundation brings back its popular program “Killer Whale Tales.”
Professional photographer and whale researcher Jeff Hogan will show amazing underwater and surface photos of videos of the San Juan orca population.
Hogan’s presentation offers a chance to learn the behavior of the huge creatures so you will know whether they are hunting, playing or just cruising.
Hogan’s stories include a dog tale about a Labrador retriever who can sniff out killer whale poop in the water for researchers to collect and analyze.
Space is limited for this great family show. Call 425-316-8592 to register. Tickets are $5 for Adopt A Stream Foundation members and $7 nonmembers. Proceeds benefit the Adopt A Stream Foundation’s Streamkeeper Academy.
The Northwest Stream Center is at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett.
