Savor fine wine along with art at ‘See N’ Sip’

Here’s a chance to blend art and wine in a most delicious way.

The Schack Art Center in downtown Everett is hosting “See N’ Sip,” an art and wine — and treat — event that will introduce visitors and their palettes to new wines while their eyes feast on a glass-blowing master making art in the center’s hot shop.

“See N’ Sip” will offer visitors the chance to sip wine from 30 regional wineries.

If visitors like the wine, they can buy a bottle to take home.

If visitors want an art keepsake instead, they can buy one of the unique drinking glasses that have been handmade for the event by 20 different local artists.

Along with the wine, decadent desserts and appetizers will be served. The mood will be set with a live jazz performance.

American Glass Master Dante Marioni provides the visual backdrop inside Schack’s hot shop where he will demonstrate goblet making.

Marioni is known for his glass vessels and glass compositions.

“See N’ Sip” is from 7 to 10 p.m. June 1 at Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Tickets are $50 per person — for 10 tastes — and may be purchased at, in person at the Schack Art Center, or by calling 425-259-5050. Must be 21 and older to attend this event.
