As the season winds down, it’s time to join the Everett Chorale and other singers to send summer on its way with song and a little ice cream.

“Summer Aire” is the concert and ice cream social at which singers from Everett Chorale, First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church and others join together for a summer-send off.

This fourth year, the theme is a “‘Hallelujah Chorus” and singers will perform various styles and types of gospel music. Guests will hear selections such as “Feel the Spirit,” “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” and works by composer Moses Hogan.

After the concert, an old-fashioned ice cream social will take place in Westminster Hall.

“Summer Aire” starts at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The concert is free but donations are accepted. For more information, call 425-259-7139 or go to www.firstpres church.com.
