Edmonds resident named to dean’s list

The University of Evansville in Indiana recently announced that Ashley Rojan of Edmonds was placed on the dean’s list for academic achievements during fall semester 2011. Rojan is majoring in pre-physical therapy.

A student at the University of Evansville must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to make the dean’s list.

Oak Harbor resident receives degree

Sylvia Roberts of Oak Harbor recently received a bachelor of science in nursing degree at Creighton University’s winter commencement ceremony.

The ceremony was held Dec. 17 on the Omaha, Neb., campus.

Brier residents on Portland dean’s list

Brier residents Sara McCrohan and Erika Murphy were each named to the 2011 fall semester dean’s list at the University of Portland.

McCrohan is a freshman studying biology. Murphy is a freshman studying elementary education.

Students need at least a 3.5 grade point average to be eligible for the university dean’s list.
