Wednesday will be a hoot at the Northwest Stream Center. The Adopt-A-Stream foundation and Snohomish County Parks and Recreation are offering a series of Wildlife Wednesday free films for families and this week’s movie is “Hoot.”
“Hoot” is about a young man’s fight to save endangered (you guessed it) owls.
The film is rated PG and even though it’s free you must register in advance because seating is limited. Call 425-316-8592.
“Hoot” will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Northwest Stream Center at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett.
On July 31, families can enjoy “Free Willy,” a heartwarming story about a troubled young boy who takes a summer job at a marine park and proceeds to figure out how to get Willy back to his ocean habitat.
“Free Willy” starts at 7 p.m. and, again, seats must be reserved in advance at 425-316-8592.
