Edmonds School District gifted programs are for students identified as “gifted or highly capable” on a cognition test. Referrals for testing into the 2010-11 programs are due at the end of November. The pace of the instruction in gifted programs is designed to meet the needs of students who learn very quickly and can process information at a higher and more abstract level. For more information, visit www.edmonds.wednet.edu.
Programs include the Challenge Gifted Program for grades 1-6, the Gifted Middle School Program and high school International Baccalaureate Program.
