Spo-oo—oo-ky stuff is going on at the Pacific Science Center’s planetarium. So spooky that little scaredy cats younger than 8 will not be let in.
Planetarium planetarian Dylan Hopper will explore some of the myths, magic and maxims lurking in the night sky around Halloween.
Hopper is a wizard at storytelling and promises some technical tweaks to add a twinge of terror to the astronomical show.
Halloween Planetarium shows are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today and Sunday, and Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28. There will be two special shows at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on the day of haunting, Oct. 31.
Tickets are $11 to $18 and seating is limited so the science center is encouraging online purchases. Members get in free but must still reserve space.
The Pacific Science Center is at 200 Second Ave. N., Seattle. Call 206-443-2001 for more information.
