The River Giant interview

I recently discovered Seattle band River Giant, which means I also recently discovered some pretty great music. River Giant released their self-titled debut record in April of this year. It was produced by former Band Of Horses member Chris Early and it turned out great.

I got the chance to chat with River Giant frontman Kyle Jacobson. The band has a cool story of how things all came together for them, and rather than type it all up I thought it would be better to let Kyle tell it himself. So the interview is in sort of a podcast form with a River Giant song at the beginning and another one at the end.

Give the interview a listen below and see the video of ‘I Permute This Marriage’ from their KEXP in studio performance. Also, you can go check these guys out when they play the High Dive in Seattle on Aug. 10.
