The thriller “Wait Until Dark” by Frederick Knott runs through Oct. 2. The play pits Susy, a recently blinded woman, against sinister thugs in a life-and-death game of cat and mouse.

The plays include Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo,” opening Oct. 7 and running Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 30 under the direction of Eric Lewis. The cast includes Jay Jenkins, Tom Cook, Karen Hendrickson, Steve Heiret, Cindy Boggio, Tracy Kirtkpatrick, Jim Thompson and Melanie Calderwood.
Red Curtain: Red Curtain Foundation for the Arts, a nonprofit arts education organization, plans to open a new arts center in Marysville on Oct. 1, also the date of a fundraising auction and dinner “Denim & Diamonds” at 6 p.m. at 9215 State Ave., Suite J, Marysville. Olympic Ballet Theatre: The Edmonds company’s 36th season opens with its annual Beaux Arts Gala dinner and auction on Oct. 15 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
