Edmonds Center for the Arts hosts its free, annual family event that features musical and theater performances, arts education workshops and lots of activities for children.
The fun starts at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 8 and continues until about 2:30 in the afternoon at the center, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. The event is sponsored by the Edmonds Arts Commission, the Edmonds Rotary Club and others.
Here’s a list of some of what’s happening:
Emmy award-winning children’s entertainer Tim Noah, along with the “kindie” rockers The Not-Its and Guinness world Record-holding juggler Alex Zerbe are scheduled to perform on the mainstage.
On the second floor of the center, Book-It Repertory Theatre offers “The Phantom Tollbooth,” followed by a workshop called “Themes in Motion” in which kids get use their voices, bodies and imaginations.
Thistle Theatre brings an interactive puppet play for younger children. Seattle Shakespeare Co. plans a costume photo booth.
Also scheduled are bouncy house and hula hoop playtimes, face painting and a design station where kids can make help create the official button for Kidstock 2015.
