Walk a spit on Camano Island, May 4

Get out your walking shoes.

Or boots.

Join Friends of Camano Island Parks members May 4 for a guided community walk at Iverson Spit Preserve, Kristoferson Creek Habitat and English Boom Historical Park.

The approximately two-hour walk takes place rain or shine.

Participants should arrive at Iverson Spit Preserve at 9:50 a.m.

Iverson Spit can be reached from East Camano Drive via Russell Road east to Sunrise Road then south to Iverson Beach Road. Follow Iverson Beach Road east to the beach area and drive north to the end.
