Ease on into the summer season with a casual, comfy boat shoe.

This particular model, Unleashed by Rocket Dog Rama, has the standard boat shoe grommets-with-lacing style, but eschews the traditional leather for a cooler nubby weave fabric lined with canvas.

The bright blue color will go with red-white-and-blue wear for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, even Flag Day.

It also comes in white and black and may be found at Kohl’s. The list price is $44.95. Look for details at www.kohls.com or check out the store.

You know, it’s not required to own a boat to wear these, but it wouldn’t hurt.
