Beer, wine, spirits: Snohomish County booze calendar

Hops on the Rock: Enjoy live music, local food and beer from 20-plus Washington breweries, including Everett’s Crucible Brewing, at the Hops on the Rock beer festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 in Eastsound on Orcas Island. Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door.

Winter Beer Taste: The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s 30th Anniversary Winter Beer Taste is from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 11 at the association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N, Seattle. More than 35 breweries will be on hand, including Mukilteo’s Diamond Knot Brewing. Tickets are $35 for non-members and can be purchased on phinneycenter.org.

Whitewall at Naked City Camano: Camano Island’s Naked City Brewing is hosting Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing for a tasting Nov. 14 at the brewery, 848 N. Sunrise Blvd., Bldg. C, Camano Island.

Skookum Brewing Bingo: Kirkland’s Flatstick Pub is hosting Arlington’s Skookum Brewing for a night of beers and bingo from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 14 at the pub, 15 Lake St., Kirkland.

Crux Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Bend’s Crux Brewing for a brewers night from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Skip Rock at Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse: Snohomish’s Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse is hosting Snohomish’s Skip Rock Distillers for a tasting night at 6 p.m. Nov. 16 at the alehouse, 1114 First St., Snohomish. Cost is $35.

Sound to Summit tasting: Whidbey Island’s Penn Cove Taproom is hosting Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 17 at the taproom, 103 S. Main St., Coupeville.

Washington Distillers Festival: Bothell’s McMenamins Anderson School is hosting the Washington Distillers Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 18 at the brewery, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. More than 20 distilleries will be on hand, including Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling. Tickets are $35 and include 10 tasting tokens.

Ninkasi tasting: Snohomish’s Josh’s Taps & Caps is hosting Eugene’s Ninkasi Brewing for a tasting event at 5 p.m. Nov. 22 at the taproom, 1800 Bickford Ave. No. 210, Snohomish. The event is also a fundraiser with $1 of every Ninkasi pint going to raise money for the Snohomish County Food Bank.

Perennial Artisan Ales: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Perennial Artisan Ales for a brewers night from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 22 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Scrappy Punk tasting: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting fellow Snohomish brewery Scrappy Punk Brewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 28 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111, Snohomish.

Whitewall Brewing tasting: Bellingham’s The Local Public House is hosting Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing for a tasting night from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at the pub, 1427 Railroad Ave., Bellingham.

Washington Winter Beer Festival: The 13th annual Winter Beer Festival is Dec. 1 and 2 at Magnuson Park, 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle. This year’s festival features 50 different Washington breweries pouring more than 200 beers. There will be three sessions 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 1, and noon to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at washingtonbrewersguild.org. Tickets at the door are $35.

Bastion Brewing tasting: Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing is hosting Anacortes’ Bastion Brewing Company from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the brewery, 14524 Smokey Point Blvd., Suite 1, Marysville.
