Winged beauties: Molbak’s Butterfly Garden at Woodland Park Zoo opens July 2.
Walk through the gardens and admire native North American butterflies. The zoo’s newest exhibit emphasizes both the fragility and resilience of nature through the display of the natural beauty of butterflies and flowers.
An arching tent structure encloses a landscape of 3,000 square feet with 500 free-flying butterflies representing at least 15 species native to North America.
