TACOMA — A judge says Steven Powell must pay a $1.8 million judgment to two girls he secretly photographed in their bathroom.
Pierce County Superior Court Judge Vicki Hogan last week turned down Powell’s request to vacate the judgment. He says he has no money.
The News Tribune reports the 63-year-old is finishing a 30-month sentence he received on his May 2012 conviction for voyeurism.
The images were found during a search of his home as investigators were looking for information about his daughter-in-law, Susan Cox-Powell who disappeared in December 2009 in Utah. Steven Powell’s son, Josh Powell, was a suspect. He killed himself and his two children in February last year in Graham.
