WALLA WALLA — Officials say one man has died and one remains hospitalized in a gang-related shooting outside a tavern in Walla Walla.
Walla Walla police said Monday in a news release they’ve arrested four men in connection with the incident that took place Saturday night in a tavern parking lot. As the victims left the tavern, a group of suspected gang members reportedly jumped them, shooting them both.
City of Walla Walla seasonal worker Juan Pedro Martinez died while being treated at a local hospital. Police say the 23-year-old had no gang affiliation.
Andrew Solis, of Walla Walla, is reportedly receiving treatment for multiple gunshot wounds. Police say Solis severed ties with a local gang after a 2011 homicide investigation.
Two brothers and two other men, all in their early 20s, have been arrested.
