$10K reward for conviction of Stanwood bank robber

STANWOOD — A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man police believe has robbed the same Stanwood bank three times since January 2011.

The latest robbery occurred around 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 9900 block of 270th Street NW.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and Stanwood Police Department believe the man robbed the same bank on April 24 this year and Jan. 24, 2011.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall man who weighs about 215 pounds. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black ski mask and a dark green jacket with light colored sleeves.

Wells Fargo is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the robberies.

Investigators ask that anyone who can identify the suspect call the sheriff’s office anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845.
