LYNNWOOD — A truck carrying fish oil made quite a stink along I-5 in Lynnwood Friday afternoon.
Shortly after 2 p.m., a truck spilled oil on the interstate. The mess stretched about 11 miles, said Trooper Heather Axtman with the Washington State Patrol.
An 800-square-foot puddle in the northbound lane slowed traffic near the cross section of I-5 and I-405, Axtman said.
One lane was closed near 164th Street SW.
The Washington State Department of Transportation was working to clean up the roadway.
