2 arrested in Arlington espresso-stand robberies

ARLINGTON — Arlington police Friday arrested two people suspected of holding up three espresso stands in recent weeks.

The arrests came after investigators received tips from the public about the identity of the suspects.

Police on Friday afternoon searched a home in the 400 block of N. French Avenue in Arlington. That’s where they arrested a woman, 44. She was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of two counts of second-degree robbery and one count of first-degree robbery.

An Everett man, 44, also was jailed in connection with a coffee stand robbery. Investigators believe the man was the getaway driver in the most recent hold-up. He was booked into jail for investigation of second-degree robbery.
