EVERETT — A couple was struck by a car while crossing a busy Everett street Tuesday night. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
The pair, both in their 30s, were walking across 41st Street near Hoyt Avenue around 8:20 p.m. They were not in a crosswalk, Snell said. Some vehicles stopped, but one driver didn’t see them.
The driver, a man in his 60s, remained at the scene to talk with detectives.
Updates on the pair’s condition were not available Wednesday.
