2nd person dies from car crash in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A second person has died from a crash Sunday night in Vancouver.

Police said Jesse E. Orellano-Leister, 20, of Vancouver, died at the scene. Police said they were notified Tuesday that Benjamin F. Folk, 25, of Vancouver, died of his injuries.

Another passenger was treated for injuries, and the driver, Ian J. Cole, 20, of Ridgefield, is held in the Clark County Jail for investigation of vehicular homicide, and hit-and-run.

Police said excessive speed and drugs appeared to be factors in the car leaving the road and hitting a power pole.
