$75,000 in damages from Everett blaze

EVERETT — A fire caused an estimated $75,000 in damage to a home in the Lowell neighborhood Friday night, the Everett Fire Department said.

Crews responded to reports of a roof fire in the 2100 block of 46th Street SE around 10 p.m. and found flames coming from the second-story roof and an exterior wall of the home, Fire Marshal Rick Robinson said. Firefighters searched the home, but found nobody inside. The fire was declared out at 10:50 p.m.

The cause was under investigation.
