EVERETT — Traffic on eastbound U.S. 2 backed up for miles Thursday evening after a five-car crash blocked two left lanes.
The collision occurred mid-span of the trestle just before 6 p.m., Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said. Nobody was seriously hurt.
Traffic backed up to the I-5 interchange, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Another crash on northbound I-405 at mile marker 30 sent one person to the hospital about 5:30 p.m., Leary said.
