Army National Guard Spec. Josh R. Pedigo has been mobilized and activated for deployment to Iraq. Pedigo, a cannon crewmember, is normally assigned to the 1st Battalion, 143rd Field Artillery Regiment, Lodi, Calif. He has served in the military for five years. He is the son of Richard Pedigo of Snohomish.
Air Force Airman Kyle E. Johnson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Johnson earned distinction as an honor graduate of the course. He is the son of Randall Johnson of Everett and a 2002 graduate of Everett High School.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Jonathan D. Lacey has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Terry and Vicky Lacey of Oak Harbor and a 2005 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Air Force Airman Jason P. Wright has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Trudy Wright of Everett and a 2006 graduate of Mariner High School.
Marine Corps Staff Sgt. David A. Hawkins, a 1989 graduate of Mariner High School, recently re-enlisted for two years while serving with Marine Aviation Training Support Group, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor.
