Stanwood: Twin City PTA raising funds for computers
Twin City Elementary School’s PTA is asking for donations to support technology improvements at the Stanwood school.
Twin City Elementary has more children from low-income families than any other school in the community. For many students, school is the only place they have time on a computer, PTA officers said.
The 24 computers in the school lab are outdated and not compatible with current software. The Twin City PTA plans to raise $16,500 to replace the computers and add six more to meet growing class sizes.
