Lakewood: Lions Club meeting
Seven Lakes Lions Club invites people to learn more about the Lions service club and to offer ideas for local community service projects.
A public meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Goodwin Community Club, 17323 42nd Ave NW, off Lakewood Road.

Marysville: Dog park work party
Marysville Dog Owners Group, M-DOG, plans to hold a volunteer work party on Saturday at the Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash Park.
The event is set to begin at noon and includes helping Boy Scout Rich Beckett install a new bridge over the stone river rock bed in the park for his Eagle Scout project, repainting the M-DOG maintenance building, spreading wood chips, and other basic maintenance. Free food and refreshments will be provided at the park, 6100 152nd St.
M-DOG is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round stewardship and basic maintenance in support of the Marysville Parks and Recreation Department for the city’s off-leash park.

Monroe: Church presents play
The First Baptist Church of Monroe is scheduled to host the play “Annie Imes: Private Eye?” at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at 17922 149th St. SE.
The play is produced by Fishnet Theatre, an Arlington-based community theater troupe. The play is about a rookie detective trying to prove the existence of God.
