Marysville: Learn about geocachingMarysville’s Parks and Recreation department is offering a free workshop June 14, to introduce children and adults to geocaching.
The workshop will cover equipment needs and instruction. After the presentation, participants will head into the park with their guide to hunt for their hidden caches.
Geocaching for Beginners will be 9 a.m. to noon at the Jennings Park Barn, 6915 Armar Road. Youths under the age of 14 must attend with an adult.

Mill Creek: Push-ups for vetsInner Athlete Fitness Studio is planning a pushups for charity event on at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The event is part of the nationwide effort to raise money to support veterans.
The studio has set a goal of raising $2,500 and completing 12,000 push ups.
The studio is located at 13206 Bothell-Everett Highway, Suite 401A in Mill Creek.
